Make it Easy
Sometimes life lessons come from the strangest places, and from the littlest people. Saturday was pretty ordinary minus the neighborhood yard sale. Anyways, a quick trip to the local Bi-Lo yielded a great lesson. On my way in I was stopped by a very nice young gentleman, he was all of twelve. He handed me a shopping list and asked me if I would help out his cause. They were restocking a local food bank, God's Pantry.
It was so refreshingly simple there was no way to say no.
My time commitment to help out was a trip down two aisles. When I dropped off my groceries to them at 11 am, they already had one 55 gallon drum filled with canned goods, cereal, instant milk and grits.
Bottom Line: We spend our days trying to out think the room, and more often than not it will be the simplest answer that solves the problem.
