Dart: Google’s Javascript Alternative?

He did it again!

Today Google yet again tries to take over the web. This time with Dart. Though the technology was announced some time ago the news is still fresh.

Dart has been pitched as Google's "better" version of JavaScript. This is by no means an extension to JavaScript, like Microsoft's AJAX was. This is akin to the C++ addition Chrome added to its beta channel last month.

For me Dart sound more like an add-on to Chrome OS over an add-on for the web. But, the web is always changing and you never know what developers will do when a new technology comes along.

Google disrupts the web all over again.
